Developing sound financial projections and tracking them regularly to run your business is critical to your success. SCORE has a workshop to help with the financial assumptions, projections and forms to help control and manage your business, on Dec. 6. Find out why a financial plan is so critical, how to identify the major components and integrate your sales forecast into the plan. View your business as your banker does: what are the financial statements, how do you create a cash budget and determine sources of capital, and what financial ratios are really important to your business? Benefit from better ways to communicate with your accountant and keep things focused. Also, on Jan. 17, SCORE offers “Starting a Home Based Business” workshop, an ideal way to start the new year and consider what it takes to launch a low overhead enterprise from home. And, to help with business start-up or growth, SCORE has broad-based workshops on Dec. 14 and Jan. 24, conducted by several experts on marketing, finances, taxes, business planning, insurance, and legal aspects.
